THE OCEAN INSIDE – Review by Music and Happy Life

The Ocean Inside - Max Corbacho

After an active day at work with three customers in three locations and a couple of kilometers by foot in the piling up slippery snow sure makes me feel sleepy towards the night. Good to have new Max Corbacho’s sonic companion playing around. With his beatless ambient soundscapes, I always manages to achieve peaceful state and clarity of mind. Relaxing and breathing into these pleasurable harmonic frequencies helps me to cope through the night with regular interruptions in the sleep and dreaming, courtesy of two small but very noisy and demanding miracles of life. I’ve been playing «Ars Lucis», «Breathstream» and «Lost Links» countless of times, over and over to the soundly sleeping audiences.

Listening to the sample-medleys alone creates a sinking feeling inside me. I’ve always loved this idea of sinking down into the ocean with ambient music. The very first examples of this musical concept in my life would be Pete Namlook’s Sequential-project with «Lost in the Sea» and same man’s later Silence-solo «Bottom of the Ocean», both from early/mid 90’s.

As the end of 2012 is approaching, the ethereal ambient bar has been set really high by the constant quality bringing talents like Max.

Let this medicine enter into your energy field and feel the bothering physical symptoms related to etherical body’s blockages disappear.
